The Staff Accountant will assists the CFO with the accounting record keeping, responsible for all aspects of general ledger accounting to ensure that all financial requirements of the Company are being met. This person is responsible to ensure the books and records, monthly closing financial reports, are professionally prepared, accurate, and timely. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities:

· Duties include recording of monthly closing journals

· Preparation of account reconciliations,

· Process journal entries for month-end close in the company’s, to recognize assets and liabilities on an accrual basis

· Accounts Payable Data entry and payment of invoices

· Reconcile general ledger account balances

· Record internal cash transfers, interest and fees, maintain cash controls, and prepare bank reconciliations

· Daily Cash Receipts recording and reconciling of sales reports.

· Other accounting projects

· Additional duties as assigned by management

Skills & Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred

· Demonstrated at least 3 years of related experience in a similar accounting position

· Strong skills with Microsoft Excel and Word

· Highest standard of organization, accuracy and precision in a time sensitive manner

· Must have excellent analytical, detailed and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work well in a team environment

· Must be flexible, able to multi-task and work to deadlines

· Excellent communication skills with strong written and verbal skills
